Coach Freddie Roach Basks in the Glory of Mosley’s Defeat Against Pacquiao

Watch Pacquiao vs Mosley Fight - Sugar Shane Mosley has got slim chances to none when he locks punches with Manny Pacquiao on May 7. Freddie Roach, Pacquiao’s boxing mentor once told the online review of a boxing journal that even if Mosley has massive punches and has got lots of experience; the multi-awarded trainer still clings to his belief that Pacquiao may halt him in about the sixth or seventh round.

"I don’t see Shane having a chance," said Roach, who arduously spent three weeks with Pacquiao in cozy Baguio City before heading to the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood weeks before the big fight. Roach’s determination and positive attitude sprouts from the People’s Champ’s pioneer sparring session – six rounds of punch shower against Karim Mayfield and Shawn Porter, all those blows and “Manny still looked very good”.

Even if Pacquiao’s trainer is quite revved up with confidence, he’s humbled by the fact that Pacquiao may not finish the job in the first few rounds; after all, Mosley’s got something in store for him too.

Roach beams and frowns at the fact that Manny Pacquiao is such a compassionate fighter and a genuine person. For instance, he ends up liking his opponents no matter how deep his bruises and how intense his bleeding brow may be. “He feels sorry for them, I urged him not to do that. He said it’s a sport, (and) that he should try not to kill anyone. I agree with that.”
Despite good-natured Pacquiao’s occasional friendly banter with his trainer, the true spirit of a fighter still rules in him and emerges when he steps inside the ring.

“We’ll make the fight at a fast pace, our pace…(and) be the first to stop him, to show the world how much better we are than anyone else. That’s our goal,” said Roach. Please support this and Watch Pacquiao vs Mosley Fight Live on May 7, 2011 on PPV.
